Your Questions Answered:
Peace of Mind for You and Your Pet
Q: What makes Paws in Good Hands different from a traditional boarding kennel?
A: Unlike traditional kennels, we offer a "Home-Style" sanctuary experience. We believe pets thrive in calm, familiar environments, not cages. Your pet becomes part of a real family, enjoying couches, gardens, and constant human companionship. It’s the difference between a "facility" and a "family home.

Q: Is Paws in Good Hands fully insured and police cleared?
A: Absolutely. Your peace of mind is our priority. Every member of our Perth team is Police Cleared, Fully Insured, and a proud member of the PIAA (Pet Industry Association of Australia). We adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards in the industry.

Q: What exactly is included in an In-Home Pet Sitting visit?
A: We call this our "Home Front Management." Beyond feeding and cuddles, we handle the bins, mail, and flyers, water the plants, and ensure your home looks lived-in and secure. You get a "Daily Cat-date" (or Pup-date) with photos and notes so you’re always in the loop.

Q: Can you care for pets with special needs or medications?
A: Yes. We are experienced in providing specialised care for seniors and pets with medical requirements. We can administer medications and strictly follow complex dietary instructions. Please share your pet's "royal requirements" during our Meet & Greet so we can match them with the right expert.

Q: Will my dog be walked in a large pack or one-on-one?
A: We specialise in boutique, personalizsed walks. While we can offer social walks, we prioritise individual attention to ensure your dog’s safety and energy levels are perfectly managed. No "mega-packs" just quality time.

Q: Do you offer specialised support for FIFO workers in Perth?
A: We are Perth’s FIFO pet care specialists. We understand the 8:6, 2:1, and 2:2 rosters intimately. Our FIFO Concierge service is designed to be "set-and-forget," managing everything from long-term boarding to our signature "Soft Landing" (fresh milk and bread in your fridge for your first morning back on R&R).

Q: Where is Paws in Good Hands located?
A: Our primary hub is in Woodvale, but our network of vetted sitters and walkers spans all of Perth. We have dedicated teams servicing the Northern Corridor (Joondalup, Butler, Alkimos), the North-East (Dianella, Ellenbrook, The Vines), and South of the River (Canning Vale, Applecross, Rockingham).

Q: How do I book my pet's staycation or walk?
A: Booking is simple! You can contact us via our website or call us directly. We always start with a Meet & Greet to ensure the perfect match between your pet and their carer. We recommend booking early for peak holiday periods and FIFO rotations.

Q: What happens if there is a medical emergency while I’m away?
A: We take immediate action. We have your vet’s details on file, and our team is trained to recognise health red flags. We will transport your pet to their usual vet (or the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital) and stay in constant contact with you until the situation is resolved.

Q: What do I need to pack for my dog’s Home Boarding stay?
A: Just the essentials! Bring their usual food (to avoid tummy upsets), their favourite bed or blanket (for that familiar "home" smell), and any required medications. We’ll handle the toys, treats, and endless belly rubs.
